Along the footsteps of the Via Francigena, at the beginning of the climb which leads to the Montemagno crossing, the small church dedicated to the Holy Face can be found. The small temple, property of the Giannini family and adjacent to the noble residence, is characterised by one nave and one stucco altar, and now houses the mutilated image depicted of the crucifiction venerated in the Cathedral in Lucca.
