On the peak of the Passo delle Gavine along the route of the Francigena, you just have to cross the hills which separates the Valfreddana from that of Contesora to find the small Oratory, the last trace of what was perhaps a hospital settlement from the Medieval era. The building features a façade with a unique architrave entrance and two symmetrical windows. Inside, the painted image of the Madonna delle Grazie used to be venerated before it was stolen in the course of the 20th century. The memory of it is commemorated with a celebration in the afternoon every September 8.
