The Feast of the Madonna del Rosario, a widespread occasion throughout the Archdiocese of Lucca, used to represent what the Porcaresi called a "small Santa Croce" for the grand summoning of the faithful to this anniversary who came from every part of the plane of Lucca. Today in the solemnity the remaining events are the afternoon eucharistic celebration and the following procession through the streets of the centre of Porcari.
