From the original Romanesque structure a side door remains, which is note-worthy due to the typology of the architrave, made of sandstone ashlars, embedded to form a decoration. The façade shows a gabled outline, with two side pilasters and a mixed stone and brick finish. In the centre there is a stone architrave door, which is finished with a triangular tympanum, whilst even higher up there is a semi-circular eye hole. The interior is a rectangular hall with cross vaults here and there. The sculptural group made of polychromatic terracotta in the adjoining oratory of the Compagnia della Croce, depicting the Compianto sul Cristo morto by Zaccaria Zacchi (at the start of the 16th century).
