The Church of San Pietro was built before 1000, it was transformed in 1200 and at the beginning of 1300. Whilst the object of many renovations, it still displays some Romanesque characterisitics and a single nave. The Church of San Pietro houses many works of art and because of this has been a national monumnet since the 1930s. Amongst the works, there are three glazed terracotta reredos of the robbiana school and a glazed terracotta statue glass depicting Mari S.S Annunciata by Andrea della Robbia.
