The most important religious festival in the community of Aulla is that which is dedicated to town's patron saint, San Caprasio di Lérins, who, after a few preparatory rituals, is celebrated every year in the parish church, which was formerly an abbey. At the hour of Vespers on 31 May, a procession begins to move through the streets of the historic centre, bearing the relics of the saint. The following day, a holiday for the whole community, involves eucharistic celebrations and a market fair.
