Starting in 1902, this has become the most beloved and attended festival in the community. The place of devotion is a small aedicule on the banks of the Renipoli stream, which is dedicated to the Nativity of Mary and which can be reached by a route not much more than a kilometre from the centre of the village. There are religious services both there and at the aedicule on Saturday evening and on Sunday, followed by some extended frivolities in the village piazza, which last all Sunday afternoon.
