Every year on August 29, the Festa della Madonna della Guardia is celebrated at the sanctuary that shares the same name, along the Cisa Pass. The temple, which is the first place of worship that you encounter on crossing the border between Emilia and Tuscany, marks the halfway point for many pilgrims, especially on late summer day. There are also markets selling craft and traditional produce.
