The Festa del Santissimo Crocifisso falls on the third Sunday of August, the day on which the religious community of Pieve a Elici assemble in their greatest numbers. They also gather the night before, on Saturday evening, in order to illuminate the roads of the hamlet with lights. The festival finishes on the following day at 11:30, with a eucharistic celebration.
