An urban trekking to walk streets, alleys and squares frequented since the remotest past; every step will revoke the atmosphere of the Middle Ages, the era to which the suggestive hamlet of Montecastelli and its impressive watchtower date back. Nestled at the top of a hill and surrounded by the characteristic Tuscan landscape, the village offers a breathtaking view over whole Cecina Valley and the imposing fortress Rocca Sillana.
Noteworthy is also the local Museum of Rural Culture where agricultural and household ancient work tools are on display.
